I work in a retail store and wanted some tips on how to sell accessories with GPS units?
We have cases, guards, and other things, but the GPS is already with the car charger / wall charger, windshield and maps. With its hard to sell accessories with them, but our shop is starting to push and I really want to try, any suggestions? (its so hard to sell that business are 19.99! therefore expensive)
The cases are very important. Go to amazon.com and search, review research buyers of these products and understand why people say these accessories help. I have 2 GPS units, and bought one case, it helps me to put everything related to my GPS in a bag. When I travel, or take the unit from car to car, I have a bag to put it in. It helps keep the unit security (which are written) and helps you keep track of the cord. It ensures that the unit does not crush or crack / scratch the screen when you throw in another bag. Moreover, Sometimes the ends of these cables are fragile (I broke 2 of them), so you want to store the unit in the case. People break into cars and stealing GPS units. If your car is in park, its better to leave and put into a case and take it with you.
