SBC engine fuel problem /?
I have a 350 bored 40 over kit stroker alum heads, 650 Holley double pump, MSD 6Al ticket dispenser and Pro I have a Holley fuel pump and regulator in this regard. I have a hook in my psi fuel line of my carbs. This is only reading 3 -1 / 2 psi i try to adjust and get used to higher fuel pump could be bad? They said it needs about 6-7 psi is this true? also idle, but when I give you gas, will crackle and throw it in silence might be the lack of gas or what causeing poping? someone please help.also I plug away at 45 it's too big a difference less or too much?
Okay, so the pressure goes I always heard 4-7. Have you tried to run the pump with the regulator? The cracks can be all sorts of things, it could be low fuel pressure, another state with a fine, another may need a carb spacer, perhaps the time is not exactly where you want the engine, is of low octane gas. Sheets probably on the right to get the tension of a good good reel (no mention of the coil used.
