burner GE water heater will not stay lit? air problem?
I have a GE water heater that is almost 2 years old. The pilot beds well, but when I point out in "ON" the ignition for 30 seconds and dies. It seems there is no air. As the flame is there and is "sucked" by. It became very strong for about 2wks bursts also no hot water, very normal grunts. We emptied a few liters to check sedament making bottom and the water was clear. Help!
Sounds like a bad gas valve.
