Frequent Flyer
Is there a way to reclaim and give retroactive effect to all frequent flyer miles that I signed?
I realize I always used 3 sites travel agent for booking flights. Therefore, I always forget flyer miles. However, I am interested to see if there is a way to recover those miles.
The correct answer depends on the airline and, in many cases, if you already have an account with them loyalty. If you have an account with them before stealing, you can request credit for flights that have not been credited to a specific period. (Many take credit for one year after the fact, but again, depends on the airline.) If you do not have an account with them before you stole, however, is another story, since many do not allow you to register and for claim the credit retroactively. Among those who will allow you to register and obtain a credit from the time you can claim the credit is usually very limited - only 30 days or more. I also note that most of the major bills of sale third party websites should be a place where you can enter a brochure. If they do, a simple phone call to the airline company operating the flight, enter the number as well, so do not lose the funds in the future.
