Yamaha xj750 (1982) hits very bad?
This is a drive shaft bike. Notice I do not need you do not need real information. The shots (which is unridable so bad that it is almost like a colt) seems to come from the shaft, I have over 30,000 bikes so you should be good for at least another 30,000 to 50,000. Is there anything else I should first check? This problem is not making no, I went along, and suddenly it happened. disorders "strike" as if the bike you'd run into a cow!
Put on the centerstand and slowly turn the rear wheel. Listen for unpleasant sound of the final (rear wheel) the bevel drive (When the pinion is in other bikes) and the universal joint (in the trunk looking for something in the swingarm pivots. Turn the front wheel and problems back because sometimes engines make more noise in one direction than the others. If you hear something, but have trouble deciding exactly where it comes from, you can buy a short length (12 inches or less) 3 / 4 "-1" PVC pipe at the hardware store. Hold one end pipe in different parts of the chain of transmission, keeping an ear to the other end. The pipeline will locate and amplify the noise. From their "court" description, I suspect that is the universal joint or maybe slots to drive shaft end are deleted. In the latter case, it may not make noise when turning the steering wheel by hand. If you suspect that the axis of transmission or transmission, remove the rear wheel drive and hold the end while turning the wheel to see if you feel or hear strange noises. Also try turning the input shaft by hand. If the final unit looks good, grasp the exposed end of the shaft and try to push-pull forward and backward and turn. You should receive none or only an almost imperceptible bow and stern play. If you do, pull the rubber cover back and look at the universal joint. Good luck.
