Handle Bars
Is there any way to make my own bicycle handlebars, if so, where can I get the materials for it.?
Cruise Collection and restoration of beaches and I would ask old monkey on the bicycle handlebar, Id like to make my own if I could.
Virtually any any supplier can get the metal thin wall for the project. I wonder if they are available to fit your bike? Internet research would be my first option. Now if you just want to build the bar and you're ready for the challenge I say go for it. Buy a pipe and I would like three feet taller than you need. PAC end of the pipe with a cap or weld on or can flatten the end and weld up. Fill the tube with sand and do the same to the other end, flatten and weld up. Now, with the sand in the pipe, the pipe will prevent bending or curved. Now your ready to work on the design of your bar. Start in the middle and work out. Once you have the shape you want to just cut couplings and pour the sand. You can make chrome after completion of the process or painting. The painting was a less expensive option, but Chrome is closer to the original. Good luck.
