Evo intake manifold air leak wrenchers Harley requested entry?
I am a fairly accomplished mechanic, but has a problem with what should be an easy task. When replacing the intake gasket (ring type Tappered), I have trouble getting a stamp and must often repeat 2-3 times for get it. Even then, it is impossible to say how long the seal, 1 day, 6 months. or what. I was wondering if Harley has some experience wrenchers suggestions or advice to help me become more successful, is very boring doing the same task repeatedly. It is thanks not to save some money. It is the professional development of the bike and back to the store it is a pain in the ass. I change in an hour (just wish I could get lost easier) Yes toyrider Bill is a B! Ride on. This is a problem I had. I spent much time Seaching through manuals this morning trying to see if there's something to it and found nothing. Drag Corro specialized information on most of my bike and never had any problem to get the stamp and maintained sealed. I always use a small amount of white lithium grease on them. If this occurs only in a paticular bike I would change consumption, the original might have some small flaw in what is not seeing.Good luck.
