How to wire SPDT micro switch?
I need to wire a DPDT switch to an input / output pin microcontroller. Its an ON-ON slider. The other should be low and the other High
Connect the mobile terminal switch input pin and connect a 4.7K resistor at each end of switch from fixed to 5 V and earth. Including resistance means you can change the status of input with a signal or a sensor. It also means that if the pin gets output programmed as this does not cause excessive current to pass from the pin.
