I have a 1998 Acura 3.0 CL 6cyl, the mechanic tells me there is silicone in my oil drain connection, what to do?
I went to search my Mr.Lube oil change and told me not to touch my car because my previous post My mechanic silicone oil drain plug. This was probably because the son had used. What should I do? Should I go to a mechanic and make silicone Re-apply? Should I buy a rubber oil drain plug? If the child finds in the oil pan, the oil cap back to no good. I suggest taking in your Acura your mechanic for an oil change and talk of silicone. Quick Lube places are cheap but they sometimes do more harm than good, and generally try to get services you do not need.
