How I can change my driving motor of up to 88 Chevrolet S10?
Tahoe 4.3 2WD truck I'm looking for tips to change the environment motor. Do not know where is the best place to lock the motor. I have the intention to put the truck on ramps and Cuming down with a shot of floor to support the engine. I may be trying this in the next 7 days or sooner. Thanks in advance for any help I can give.
If possible, it is always preferable to place the jack under the solid part of the block. Most often this is not possible. Usually end up putting the oil in a frying pan. Always use a wood block between the jack and the pan to prevent damage to the pan. Before removing the pan pressure bolt nut. Place a small amount of pressure on the tray and remove the bolt. Raise the engine enough to remove the bracket and install another. (It may be necessary to remove the screw on both sides) After installing the new engine lower engine mount and replace the bolt.
