Ohm Daytona
Do we need a roof system for my sub?
I recently installed a single Daytona 12 'Cadence (1500 RMS) and a 3500watt amp quantum (1750 RMS @ 2 ohms) in MY 2000 Mustang. (stock battery), which blows very well and sounds very fresh and clean, but no where near the sound you thought I'd watts RMS 1750 because one of my friends are running a JL 500 / 2 of your amp to 2 w3s JL outragously and its very difficult. Also, when I start booting up, my lights flicker. Im trying to get my money for my installation. Someone mentioned to me that you may require a cap and Sumthin more to stem the loss of power and tha brake lights flicker. What is / are the most cost-effective upgrade / improvements that I can bring my system to get all the power of my amp?
If you're a great power receiving a battery and have kinetics 1000 1 farad caps. but if you look not to go as big as you might want to get only a maximum of 2 farad prlly running in anywhere from 79 to 250 depending on brand and where you buy. the CAP will solve your insurance flickering. I guess your friend has two 12 years carrying a box that gives the best way to SPL in a sealed box and im never taking yuor in a sealed box. yuor SQ will be much more accurate than his, but his will slam harder than yours .. if you want to hit hard throw in a box to bring your habit Buddy have a shot at a rate of Daytona, where his power properly.
