Is my key fob plip 2000 Citroen Xsara dead?
I have an old Xsara 2000, with the plip OE does not work. I put a battery in it, she recorded a low voltage drop when you press the button, but the car does not respond. I tried, even in the ignition and pressing buttons, and just after the opening of the door key. Is there something I missed, forgot to code, so it may just be fried? ps is a key component with two buttons on the edge, in a rubber gasket. Thanks for all the ideas.
Is the central locking system Working with the key? If so, this is a transmission or electronic problem. Check your receiver section inside the car. Then you have your radio signal plip verified. I have a Xsara 1999 and is always perfectly PLIP (battery replacement not present).
