Set Battery
Can I hack an old set of jumper cables to get a new battery positive cable to my truck?
Checvy I have a '97 S-10 4 banger with a heavily corroded battery cable. I think this cable is causing the problems I have with the thing. I want to replace, but I do not thing the way I die the auto parts store. I have a lot of jumper cables and I think are long enough and should be a fairly heavy weapons, they can use. Anyone do not you agree?
Could be very long, but I doubt that the indicator is large enough to make you much good. Bridges battery cheap tend to run 10 Gage, while the battery cables are more likely to be 4 Gage. $ 5.99 for the ground wire and $ 7.99 for the positive side, go to your parts store to buy one designed for Chevrolet and get it.
